Here are six spook-tacular events to celebrate autumn in the Blue Water Area

There are countless Halloween and autumn-themed events happening throughout the St. Clair and Sanilac County areas. People are bound to find at least one fall-festive event to enjoy.

Are you looking for ways to get into the Halloween spirit? Here is a list of local events that are sure to be hauntingly fun.

Interactive haunted house

Prepare to be scared. At this haunted house, you are more than a spectator. You're a participant. The Foundry's interactive haunted house will place people in five different nightmares. People will be given five minutes to find the tools they need to escape each room.

Prices are dependent on the number of people participating. Groups of five or six people will cost $15 per person. Groups of three or four cost $18 per person. Groups of two cost $25 per person. The max amount of people for a group is six.

There will be multiple sessions every Friday and Saturday starting Sept. 29. Sessions start at 6 p.m. and take place every half hour. People can be book their session at www.foundryporthuron.com.

Fall Pumpkin Fest at Goodells

It just isn't autumn without pumpkins and corn mazes. The St. Clair County Farm Museum, located inside of Goodells County Park, is hosting its Fall Pumpkin Fest every weekend starting Oct. 7. For $4, people of all ages will get to pick their own pumpkins, take a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and get lost in a corn maze.

Goodells County Park is located at 8264 County Park Dr. in Wales Township.

Fall Pumpkin Fest will take place from noon to 5 p.m. during all four weekends in October, or until the patch is out of pumpkins.

Haunted Village in Sanilac

Do you dare to enter the haunted village and face its ghosts and ghouls? The Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum is once again opening its gates for the annual haunted village attraction. On Oct. 14 and Oct. 21, spirits will lurk the grounds and buildings of the museum and spook attendees. Entry to the haunted village is $5 per person.

The Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum is located at 228 S. Ridge St. in Port Sanilac.

There are two spooky trails to choose from. There is a family-friendly trail, which is perfect for younger children and families who just want a fun time. Then there is the super spooky trail, which is described as no holds barred and promises to make the hair on people's necks stand up.

Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum is doing more than just the haunted village. Starting Oct. 13, people can check out the creepiest dolls around as part of the Creepy Baby Doll Contest. Vote for the creepiest doll by placing a dollar in a jar in front of its display.

People can vote for their favorite dolls on from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 13, 20 and 27. People can also place their votes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 14 and 21, after they've paid to enter the haunted village.

After a night of scares and screams, attendees can warm up by the bonfire and sample goodies from the food booth. People can roast s'mores and enjoy a warm cup of cider or hot chocolate.

Costumes are encouraged.

Halloween Ball at CityFlats

Local ghosts and ghouls are invited to CityFlat's first Halloween Ball. This bewitching night is taking place from 8 to 11p.m., Oct. 27 inside The Ballroom, located inside CityFlats at 800 Military St., Port Huron. The event is for people 21 and older. Attendees can expect to be treated to boozy creations, a buffet, fortune tellers, a photo booth, dancing, music and prize drawings.

Tickets to the ball are starting at $45 and can be found at eventbrite.com.

Costumes are encouraged. CityFlats requests that attendees do not bring fake weapons and that any costume face masks be removable. Attendees will also be ID'd at the door and must be 21 or older to enter.

Prize drawings will occur throughout the evening, including hotel stays at CityFlats Port Huron & Grand Rapids, and gift vouchers for downtown businesses.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Let's do the time warp again at McMorran Plaza. The cult classic and Halloween staple "Rocky Horror Picture Show Live" promises a tantalizing, interactive production.

There will be three chances to watch the show. The first show is at 8 p.m. on Oct. 27, with another 8 p.m. and midnight show on Oct. 28. Tickets go between $20 and $30.

Dressing up is highly encouraged.

Psychic medium at the Cadillac House

The future and past will come together at the Cadillac House this Halloween season. Join Michigan-based psychic medium Lisa Boussan as she reconnects guests with the spirits of loved ones and ancestors. The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 28 inside The Hidden Cavern, which is attached to the Cadillac House, located at 5502 Main St. in Lexington.

Tickets to the event are $50 and can be reserved by calling the Cadillac House at (810) 359-7201.

The psychic medium isn't the only thing taking place at the Cadillac House that night. Prior to the medium, people can reserve tarot card readings or a reiki session. Cost is $20 per reading.
