Sixers guard Danny Green out for rest of Game 3 vs. Hawks with calf strain

The Philadelphia 76ers are in the middle of trying to come away with a win on the road down in Atlanta in Round 2 looking to steal home-court advantage back on their side. They will have to do so the rest of the way without a big piece of their roster.

Danny Green played a total of four minutes on Friday in Game 3 against the Hawks and he then left in some clear discomfort. The team then announced that the veteran will not return to the game as he has been diagnosed with a right calf strain and he is a big loss for the Sixers on the road.

Now, the Sixers will have to rely on the likes of Shake Milton, Furkan Korkmaz, and Matisse Thybulle to step up and produce in Green’s place. Winning on the road in Atlanta is tough and to do so in the playoffs without one of their veteran leaders will be a tough challenge.
