Sixers individual player grades following Game 3 road win over Hawks

The Philadelphia 76ers regained home-court advantage by knocking off the Atlanta Hawks in Game 3 on Friday. They fought through the adversity of being on the road to get the job done.

They were led by great performances from Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons and their leadership on the floor. This type of performance shows off the talent the two possess on the floor.

Here are the player grades for Embiid, Simmons and every other Sixer that played in a big road win:

Joel Embiid: A+

What can you really say about the big fella anymore? Playing with a meniscus tear in his right knee and rolling his left ankle in the game, he still had 27 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. The continued evolution of Embiid's game has been very impressive to watch throughout these years.

Tobias Harris: A+

Harris continues to be great this postseason. He put up 22 points on 10-for-16 shooting along with eight rebounds and five assists while playing great defense on the other end. He continues to give this team a huge lift when the time calls for it.

Ben Simmons: A

When Simmons is aggressive as he was on Friday, that is a huge game-changer for the Sixers on the offensive end. He had 14 points after halftime, and he was a huge reason Philadelphia neutralized Trae Young on the other end. He has to remain aggressive on the offensive end.

Seth Curry: B+

Curry had 12 points on 5-for-10 shooting and he knocked down two 3s. That is exactly what the Sixers are looking for from him, and they will need him to continue his strong play on the offensive end.

Danny Green: Incomplete

Green played four minutes before leaving with a right calf strain, an injury that will sideline him for Monday's Game 4 and beyond. Green is expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks, but the team says he will be re-evaluated after the initial two-week timeframe.

Furkan Korkmaz: A

Korkmaz was huge in Game 3 on Friday. His ability to hop off the bench in place of Green and immediately contribute was paramount. He had 11 points in the first quarter on his way to a playoff career-high 14 points. He was a big reason Philadelphia won this game.

Matisse Thybulle: A

As big as Korkmaz was, Thybulle was equally as big in the first half. He hopped off the bench and had two steals while menacing Atlanta's passing lanes. He had four points in the first quarter and knocked down a 3 as well.

Dwight Howard: A

After a disastrous Game 1 and a bad first half in Game 2, Howard has been back to his normal level of play. His ability to be big down low and punish the smaller, yet more athletic, Hawks has been huge for the Sixers. He had 12 points and six rebounds on Friday, and he shot 4-for-5 from the foul line.

Shake Milton: B

Milton followed his magnificent Game 2 performance with a solid outing in Game 3. He had six points in 21 minutes of playing time, and he knocked down a 3. He was also the first guard off coach Doc Rivers' bench, which bodes well for his current situation.

George Hill: B-

Hill had some bad turnovers early, like really bad, but he bounced back nicely as a veteran should. His defense on the perimeter was very good, and he knocked down a clutch 3 when the Hawks were trying to make one last run at it.

Tyrese Maxey: B-

Maxey is still going through the development and maturation process of a rookie. He still has to be able to grow as a player and he showed some solid signs on Friday. He had four points, and he had a nice move to the basket with a tough finish.

Isaiah Joe: Incomplete

Joe played 50 seconds when the game was already decided though he scored two points and grabbed a rebound. It was a nice moment for the rookie out of Arkansas.
