PHILADELPHIA–Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid is known for his elaborate celebrations and his ability to egg on the crowd and get everybody excited and hyped out on the floor.

In Wednesday’s 137-133 win over the Brooklyn Nets, Embiid brought out his thrusting celebration which paid tribute to his favorite wrestler, Triple-H after a big And-1 late. He had a terrific play where he threw the ball up and it just went in while playing through the contact.

“There’s no secret that Triple-H is my guy,” said Embiid. “Obviously, DX, when I used to watch wrestling, those were my guys. Any time I get the chance, I haven’t done it in a while so I just felt like it was a good And-1. I got the ball, I didn’t even see the rim, and I felt like it was deserving of a good celebration.”

After the play, Nets star Kevin Durant, who was out due to injury, tweeted that the celebration was trash. The big fella then fired back at him with the perfect response.

Not only was Durant on Embiid’s case, but former teammate and current Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler had his own reaction.

Of course, Butler was just joking, but it was funny to see other stars react to his celebration.
