Sixers star Joel Embiid out putting up shots after struggles vs. Pelicans

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is not one to have a bad game. He has very rarely had any of those in the 2020-21 season as he has put the team on his back on a regular basis.

However, on Friday, he had himself a tough night shooting just 5-for-16 for 14 points and nine rebounds in a 101-94 road loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Embiid did not look like himself all night as he struggled to get anything going against Steven Adams.

After the game was over, the big fella was back out on the floor and putting up shots at Smoothie King Center in order to get himself back into a groove a bit.

The Sixers have to hop on a plane and head to the Sooner State to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday and it remains to be seen if the big fella will play in that game as he recovers from his knee issue. It is clear that he is bothered by his performance and he wants to be able to get back on the right track after his struggles on Friday.
