Fall fashion is all about dressing for comfort. Whether you're a fan of chunky knit sweaters, casual knit joggers or a comfy sweatshirt, you don't have to dress up to look stylish this season.
One footwear option that's a great alternative to boots and sneakers are clogs, like the Women's Fortress clogs from Skechers. These cozy winter slip-on shoes are currently topping Amazon's Movers & Shakers list, after experiencing a spike in sales by more than 5,000 per cent.
In addition to topping the Movers & Shakers list, the black suede slip-on shoes are currently on sale for 25 per cent off.

These fall and winter-friendly clogs feature a soft faux-fur lining and chic suede upper. Skechers' Women's Fortress clogs feature a thick rubber sole with a tread, which means you can wear them across different terrains.

Aside from topping the Movers & Shakers list, Skechers slip-on shoes have earned more than 2,300 reviews from Amazon shoppers. The Fortress clogs have been called the "perfect winterized slipper" that feet will love.
While some shoppers have worn these clogs as indoor shoes, others have said that they're "warm enough to wear" during Canadian winters if there isn't deep snow on the ground.
"Excellent support,” one shopper said. “These are my go to from now on.”
"These are wonderful,”another echoed. “Sturdy, warm and very comfortable.”
“The sole is thick and sturdy,” one Amazon shopper wrote, adding that they wear these to work around the house or on the porch or patio.
Although they have earned more than 1,500 five star reviews, there are some things to consider before you buy.
While shoppers have called them a great option for the cottage or wearing around the house, some feel as though their thick sole makes the Fortress clogs a "bit clunky."
Others have said they "feel a little heavy" despite being a warm and comfortable slip on for fall and winter. The hefty sole makes them ideal for wearing outdoors, but if you're looking for something to replace a pair of lightweight, house slippers, these might not be for you.
Verdict
Skechers Fortress clogs are designed as an alternative to sneakers or boots during cooler weather. The soft faux fur lining and suede upper make them a durable and comfortable style for wearing while running errands or working around the house, while their thick sole helps provide traction for slippery or slick terrain.
