Skeletal remains found by Ohio River bank in Kentucky, state police say

Skeletal remains were found in Kentucky Monday, according to Kentucky State Police.

The remains were on a bank of the Ohio River in Carroll County near Ghent, KSP said.

The remains have been sent to the Louisville Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.

An identity for the remains has not been released. An investigation by KSP is ongoing.
