Can you skip the fees by selling your home online? This reporter isn't so sure.

Dear valued subscribers,

Welcome to Don't Miss Reads, our weekly newsletter highlighting some of our editors' favorite stories, photos and videos that you might have missed.

I'm Cheyenne Derksen, content planner for The Oklahoman and planning lead for the region.

It's softball season, and

Jeff Patterson and the rest of the Oklahoman's sports department have you covered with instant updates, deep dives and more. I recommend you check out these stories on Mackenzie Donihoo, Kinzie Hansen, or get ready for the Women’s College World Series.

I've only been an Oklahoma resident for a year now this month, so I haven't just yet caught the softball bug. But as a recent homebuyer, I was fascinated by Richard Mize's scoop on homes sold online in our state. (I didn't even know you could do that).

An Oklahoma City real estate agent found that selling directly to online real estate companies nets sellers considerably less than a traditional sale on the open market through a real estate agent, even accounting for commissions and fees.

Below are links to more of our editors' favorite stories of the past week or beyond. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
