From Skydiving Easter bunnies to flashlight egg hunts: Easter eggs hunts in Pensacola
With Easter nearly upon us, it’s time to start planning where you’ll be hunting eggs.
This year has a variety of unique egg hunts that will satisfy just about anyone.
The Flora-Bama Lounge will have the Easter bunny skydiving onto Gulf Coast shores just after its egg hunt. Pensacola Baptist Temple will have you equipped with a basket, a flashlight and a dream to find more Easter eggs hidden in the dark than anyone else. And the Egga-Wahooza at the Wahoo Stadium is promising a day of egg hunting with more than 50,000 eggs to find.

When is Easter 2023?
Easter lands on April 9 this year. However, many Eastern Orthodox churches follow the Julian calendar and will celebrate on April 16.
Santa Rosa Medical Center
When: 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 25
Where: 6002 Berryhill Road, Milton
The Santa Rosa Medical Center and Medical Group are hosting egg hunts Saturday for kids ages 0-3, 4-7 and 8-11 years old. The event will feature candy, activities and golden egg prizes.
Homestead Lounge and Package
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, March 26
Where: 3614 N. U.S. Highway 29
Homestead Lounge and Package is hosting its second annual kids Easter party. Everything kicks off at 10 a.m. with the Easter bunny coming to visit and take photos with the kids. There will be two bounce houses with slides and a ball pit, food, a craft table set up, goodie bags and more. The bar will be closed to all alcohol sales until 1 p.m.

St. Mark United Methodist Church
When: 10:30 a.m., April 2
Where: 2203 N. 12th Ave.
St. Mark United Methodist Church will be holding its annual Easter egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. on Palm Sunday just outside the church.
Echo Life
When: Noon, April 2
Where: 3880 N. Davis Highway
Echo Life Church is hosting its EGGStravaganza following its morning service. The egg hunt will also have face painting, cotton candy, games, inflatables, lunch and more.
East Hill Makers Market: Easter Celebration
When: 3 to 6 p.m., April 4
Where: Cordova Square, 1101 N. 12th Ave.
East Hill Makers Market at Cordova Square will have a little something for everyone at its Easter celebration on April 4. Patrons can enjoy an afternoon of shopping, food trucks and kids activities with over 40 craft and farm vendors. Plus, the City of Pensacola is offering a free Easter egg hunt.
Ensley Church of the Nazarene
When: 6 to 7:30 p.m., April 5
Where: 8300 N. Palafox St.
The Ensley Church of the Nazarene is hosting Easter dinner and an egg hunt on April 5. Dinner will be served promptly at 6 p.m. with the egg hunt following. The egg hunt will be separated into three age groups.
Pensacola Baptist Temple
When: 8 to 11 p.m., April 7
Where: Pensacola Baptist Temple, 5000 Cerny Road
Looking for something a little different? Pensacola Baptist Temple is hosting a flashlight egg hunt that will have kids searching for their eggs in the dark. This event is for kids 12 and under.
Marine Corps League Pensacola
When: 10 a.m., April 8
Where: Veterans Memorial Park, 200 S. 10th Ave.
The Marine Corps League Pensacola is holding an Easter egg hunt at Veterans Memorial Park on April 8. The hunt is open to kids of all ages.
Egga-Wahooza
When: 11 a.m., April 8
Where: Community Maritime Park, 301 W. Main St.
Marcus Pointe Baptist Church is hosting its annual egg hunt boasting over 50,000 eggs. The event will have several age categories, including 0-2, 3-4, kndergarten through first grade, second through third grade, fourth through fifth grade and a hunt for kids with special needs. There will also be food trucks on the premise and more.
Easter egg hunt and bunny drop
When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 8
Where: Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Dr.
The Flora-Bama is inviting families for an afternoon of egg-hunting, face-painting and sky-diving fun. The egg hunt begins at 1 p.m. on the beach behind Flora-Bama, and the Easter bunny will drop onto the beach shortly after, where kids can meet and have their photos taken.
Rhythm Church
When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 8
Where: 1608 Woodchuck Ave.
Head out to Rhythm Church on April 8 for its annual Easter egg hunt. In addition to the hunt, families can enjoy food, games, a bounce house and more.

Salvation Army
When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 8
Where: The Salvation Army of Pensacola, 1501 N. Q St.
Join the Salvation Army from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 8 for its annual Easter egg hunt. The hunt will be dividing into age groups and include prizes for each age group.
Easter Egg-Stravaganza 2023
When: 10 a.m., April 8
Where: Panhandle Palm & Rock, 1801 Presidio St., Navarre
Panhandle Palm & Rock have partnered with Grow With Us Learning Academy to hide over 4,000 Easter eggs during its annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza. The hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. and will be separated into groups based on the following ages: 0-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Door prize tickets will be hidden in the eggs.
Pullum Family YMCA
When: Noon to 2 p.m., April 8
Where: 2379 Pawnee Dr., Navarre
The Pullum Family YMCA is hosting an Easter egg hunt for kids ages 1 to 12. The hunt will have prizes for three age groups, and food trucks will be on-premise for a bite to eat.
Refuge Church
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 8
Where: Carpenter’s Park, 5254 Munson Highway, Milton
Refuge Church is gearing up for its biggest Easter celebration yet. The event will be hosted at Carpenter’s Park this year and promises to be full of fun and memories. There will be over 50,000 Easter eggs to hunt, food, live music, giveaways, treats and an appearance by the Easter bunny.
Easter at the Gulf Breeze Zoo
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 9
Where: 5701 Gulf Breeze Highway, Gulf Breeze
The Gulf Breeze Zoo is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt. The egg-citing event will also feature face painting, a bounce house and photos with the Easter bunny. Easter photos can be taken from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The egg hunts begin with the 0-2 age group at 11:30 a.m., ages 3-6 start at noon and ages 7-12 start at 12:30 p.m. Members pay only $9 for entrance.
