LAS CRUCES – Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Grab your green gear and check out some of the celebrations planned in and around Las Cruces over the holiday weekend.

Midget Wrestling Warriors at AmadorLIVE

Live wrestling is back once again this year in downtown Las Cruces as Midget Wrestling Warriors make a stop on its national tour. Fans can expect to see Short Sleeve Sampson, Rob the Giant, Demus, Zoey Skye, Diosa Quetzal and New Mexico’s Valentina Loca in the ring.

“The Midget Wrestling Warriors are thrilled to entertain our awesome fans in Las Cruces. You can be sure we will be bringing more action and excitement than Las Cruces has ever seen,” said Short Sleeve Sampson in a news release.

Gates open at 4 p.m. Friday, St. Patrick’s Day at AmadorLIVE, 302 S. Main St. The bell sounds at 8 p.m. General admission tickets are $15 at the gate. VIP patio and ringside tables are available by reservation. Call 575-541-7417 for more information.

St. Patty’s Day Brewery Small Crawl in downtown Las Cruces

Just down the street from The Amador, Icebox Brewing Co.’s The Boneyard Cantina and Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery are partnering for a mini bar crawl this St. Patty’s Day. Green beer will be flowing, and customers will have the chance to win prizes.

The Boneyard Cantina is located at 139 N. Main St. and Little Toad Creek is located at 119 N. Main St.

Traditional meal, music by The San Patricios at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing

Drive down to Sunland Park and enjoy an evening of music, laughter and corned beef at Ardovino’s. The restaurant is offering a traditional Irish meal of “house-made corned beef, caramelized cabbage, mashers with gravy, and Irish soda bread.” El Paso band The San Patricios will provide entertainment for the evening.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Friday, March 17 at 1 Ardovinos Dr., Sunland Park. Seating is first come, first served. Entry tickets are $16.75 for adults and $8.30 for children 5 to 12. Children 5 and under will be admitted for free.

Meal tickets are $21.50 per person and are separate from entry. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online at www.ardovinosdc.com/st-patricks-day.
