Sleep among lions and giraffes at New Jersey Six Flags

NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Ever dreamed of sleeping among giraffes and lions? Now, you can do it in New Jersey.

Visitors at New Jersey’s Six Flags Great Adventure can now stay overnight in suites that promise a “luxurious” glamping experience amid the park’s 350-acre Wild Safari packed with over 1,200 animals.

Glamping suites, fitted for couples and families, range from $700 to $1,200 per night and include breakfast, a multi-park ticket and a daily giraffe feeding – and some have safari views.

The suites have a minimum two-night stay, and glampers will have access to Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa’s restaurant and spa services too.

“Wake up in the heart of Wild Safari while majestic animals roam nearby,” said a representative of Six Flags. “Stay in the wild.”

The new glamping experience is part of a 50-year anniversary for Six Flags Great Adventure Resort – which will also get a new roller coaster this coming summer, according to representatives of Six Flags Great Adventure.

To make the new stay possible, the theme park is going on a hiring spree. A range of positions are open to locals age 16 and older as the park move towards a March 16 open date.
