This Sleep Kit Will Turn Your Frumpy Old Sofa Into a Bed That Rivals a 5-Star Hotel
We've all had our fair share of sofa-sleeping moments, from crashing at a friend's to accidentally nodding off after re-watching The Office for the tenth time. But being totally honest, sometimes our sofas aren't the comfiest. While they might not be the ideal spot to catch some Z's, furniture brand Burrow is attempting to turn your sofa into the 5-star bed that you—and your guests—deserve to sleep on.
Burrow is officially selling sleep kits that are supposed to turn any old sofa into a little slice of napping heaven. The 5-piece set comes with a memory foam pad to lay over the sofa, a 100 percent cotton sheet set with a cellphone pocket (to charge via USB while you sleep), a pillow and cotton pillowcase, a comforter, and an eye mask.
The entire set can roll up into a conveniently sized bag that can—and will—transform any sofa into a perfect place to sleep for the night. It's just compact enough that you can easily tote it with you wherever you go, too.
The furniture company commissioned research to prove that their consumers need this product. A whopping 55 percent of respondents said that they wished their sofa was comfortable enough to sleep on—and even more so with millennials, as 63 percent want their sofa to be comfortable enough to sleep on. The research also showed that over half of those aged 18-34 have visitors that crash on their sofas instead of hotels.
Burrow's sleep kit retails at $350, but will be reduced to $300 when bundled with purchase of the Nomad Collection furniture.
