Slipknot fans gathered at the Heritage Bank Center on Wednesday night to see the heavy metal band on their 2022 Knotfest Roadshow tour.
During the group's performance, a band member alerted lead singer Corey Taylor about a fan who appeared to be in trouble on the arena floor. Taylor quickly stopped the show and directed onsite medical staff toward the fan, and lights in the building turned on.
In a video tweeted by a concertgoer, Taylor could be heard calming down the crowd and making sure the fan received medical attention.
"Let's make sure they get out, ok?" he said.

Concert attendee Matt Scheer said the ailing fan appeared to be on the ground, and that Taylor told the crowd to clear a path. Officials were able to quickly remove the fan from the crowd.
"Are they good? Is everybody ok?" Taylor can be heard asking in the clip.
Scheer says after the fan was safely removed, Taylor thanked his bandmates, medical and security staff and fans for cooperating.
"I just want to make sure they get somewhere where they can get looked at," he said of the fan.
The Slipknot frontman then resumed the show.
The cheering crowd seemed to appreciate Taylor's concern for the fan's wellbeing. On social media, concertgoers have increasingly shared videos of artists pausing their shows to check on fans, especially after the Astroworld Festival tragedy last November, where 10 people died as a result of a crowd crush.
"I think it speaks volumes for how highly the band cares for their fans and vice versa," Scheer said.
