Who was SLO County’s top high school football player this season? Vote here

In a season marked by a full return to the gridiron and stadiums packed with fans, San Luis Obispo County saw an exciting fall of football action and top-notch performances from players from Paso Robles to Nipomo.

A group of 12 players hailing from seven local high schools made up the winners of this year’s season-long Tribune player of the week reader poll.

As way to represent all of the SLO County teams that also had standout players listed in this year’s fan polls, three Arroyo Grande players and two Atascadero players also were added to the list of choices. They didn’t win a weekly reader poll, but their performances on the field stood out.

Now, you, the fans, get a chance to vote on who you think was the best SLO County player of the year. It’s a fun way to show your support and spotlight local student-athletes.

Cast your vote as many times as you wish. Voting ends at 3 p.m. Friday.
