"Glad to confirm that 30 Slovakian BMP1 infantry fighting vehicles were donated to Ukraine based on agreement with Germany," he wrote.

Nad' thanked his German counterpart Christine Lambrecht for cooperation.

Slovakia will replace the donated hardware with over EUR 100 million ($104 million) worth of 15 Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks, ammunition and spare parts from Germany.

On Nov. 18, Slovakia sent a Zuzana 2 howitzer to Ukraine.

On Oct. 2, Germany, Norway, and Denmark agreed to purchase 16 additional Zuzana 2 howitzers for Ukraine. The shipments will start from next year.

In June, Kyiv and Bratislava signed an agreement on the supply of eight 155mm howitzers.
