Sloviansk Kindergarten Destroyed a Day After Schools Reopen in Ukraine

A kindergarten in Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast was destroyed in shelling a day after schools reopened across Ukraine, the city’s mayor said on Friday, September 2.

The “Teremok” school on Torska street in Sloviansk was heavily damaged in a Russian attack, Mayor Vadym Lyakh said on Friday. The administration posted a video of the destroyed building on its Telegram channel.

Lyakh said there were no casualties.
