Following the Apple TV+ show's popular second season, a third and fourth were greenlit and announced to be filming back to back.

The third season, directed by Saul Matzstein and based on the third book in Mick Herron's series, will see Oldman's character Detective Jackson Lamb setting out to stop a rogue agent after a member of their own team is kidnapped.

RadioTimes reports that season 4 filming is happening right now in London.

Rumours of season five and six have already started, with River Cartwright actor Jack Lowden saying he'd "love" to see the show continue into the future.

"We would love that. The world of this is such a joy and it definitely feels like a one-off, the atmosphere of it and the material. So I mean, as long as it's still interesting and people are still interested, I think it's the same with anything, I'd love to do it," he told Collider.

Kristin Scott Thomas, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce are also expected to be back for season 3.

Slow Horses seasons 1-2 are streaming on Apple TV+. Season 3 and 4 have been confirmed.
