South Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment has announced its upcoming music projects for the first half of the year.

The company shared its line-up of comebacks and slated concerts in its latest earnings report for the fourth quarter of 2022.

SM Entertainment’s report revealed that April will see the release of Girls’ Generation leader and soloist Taeyeon’s fifth mini-album, girl group Aespa’s first-ever full-length album and the debut album of a new NCT sub-unit.

Additionally, veteran act SHINee will release their eighth studio album in May. An unnamed member of NCT is also set to make his solo debut in May with a mini-album. Mentioned elsewhere in the report is a line-up of recently announced upcoming solo records from Super Junior’s Yesung, EXO’s Kai and SHINee’s Onew.

SM also shared its upcoming concert line-up, including new shows for Taeyeon and girl group Red Velvet for the second quarter of the year.

Their earnings report follows news of rival entertainment company HYBE becoming the largest shareholder of SM Entertainment, a divisive move that has been hotly contested by the likes of SM’s own CEOs and employees.

Co-CEO Chris Lee uploaded two videos on his personal YouTube channel last week calling out SM founder Lee Soo-man for offshore tax evasion and delaying Aespa’s comeback album, among other accusations.

CFO Jang Cheol-hyuk called HYBE’s actions a “hostile takeover” in a video uploaded this weekend to SM’s official YouTube channel.
