Mar. 2—FULTON COUNTY — A small plain crashed Tuesday morning at the Fulton County Airport, Fulton County Sheriff's officials said.

The pilot, the only occupant of the plane, walked away uninjured, officials said.

The crash happened at the airport and involved a Cessna aircraft, officials said in a Facebook post. The post, just before 9 a.m., did not indicate the time of the crash.

The pilot is from Vermont, officials said.

The Fulton County Emergency Management Services Coordinator and the local fire department was on scene. The FAA and the NTSB have also been notified, officials said.

The airport was to remain closed until the investigation is complete or until the FAA authorizes its reopening, officials said.
