2 people killed after a plane crashed into a vehicle while landing on I-75 near Naples
The Florida Highway Patrol on Friday afternoon said it was responding to a crash involving a small plane that made an emergency landing on Interstate 75 near Naples.

The Federal Aviation Administration said five people were aboard the Bombardier Challenger 600 jet.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, two of the people died in the crash.
The crash happened at about 3:15 p.m. on I-75 near Pine Ridge Road in Collier County.

Troopers said that the plane collided with a vehicle while making an emergency landing.
The FAA said it will investigate the crash with the National Transportation Safety Board.

Currently, all southbound lanes of I-75 are closed.
FHP is asking drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
