A tiny timber-framed Wendy house in the Cotswolds will go on sale at auction in September for just £15,000.

The quaint two-storey property is likely the smallest (and cheapest) house in the area. It was first built at Prinknash Bird & Deer Park, between Stroud and Cheltenham, back in 1989 and is thought to have been visited by over half a million children since its arrival at the family-friendly park. "No matter how old you are, this stunning folly has been popular with every generation for over 20 years," explains the park on their Facebook page.

Interested to put in an offer? The Wendy house will sell at Chorley's Auctioneers in Gloucestershire on Tuesday 17th September, with offers predicted to be between £12,000 - £15,000.

According to the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire Standard, the home offers ''the unique opportunity for another public attraction or a private individual to acquire a stunning area for children's parties or perhaps a spot of quiet contemplation for a (small) adult''.

Inside the tiny home, you'll find dark wooden flooring, small windows and a table just the right size to enjoy tea and a slice of cake. There's also a narrow staircase (you may have to crouch down on your way up) which leads to a cosy bed.

If you're a fan of J.M. Barrie's famous novel Peter Pan and have dreamt of owning a Wendy house of your own, then now could be your chance.
