You can’t have Halloween without pumpkins.

The Smashing Pumpkins will headline a concert at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland with special guest Jane’s Addiction and Meg Myers.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, May 13, at https://www.rocketmortgagefieldhouse.com and https://www.ticketmaster.com/.

Smashing Pumpkins formed in Chicago in 1988 and ruled the next decade with hit albums such as “Gish” (1991), “Siamese Dream” (1993), “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” (1995) and “Adore” (1998).

The 2022 lineup features founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin along with Jeff Schroeder. They released their most recent studio album, “Cyr,” in 2020.

Jane's Addiction, another alternative smash from the 1990s, features vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Chris Chaney. The group formed in Los Angeles in 1985.

Produced by Live Nation, the 32-date “Spirits on Fire” tour will begin Oct. 2 in Dallas and conclude Nov. 19 in Los Angeles. For Northeast Ohio fans who don't mind a little drive, the tour will stop Oct. 22 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh and Nov. 2 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
