Will Smith isn’t the wuss people may think he is.

After becoming a viral meme following his seemingly tearful reaction to his “Red Table Talk” with wife Jada Pinkett Smith about her past “entanglement” with singer August Alsina, the 52-year-old rapper-turned-actor said the look of anguish on his face was due to fatigue.

“It was midnight,” Smith began in a 11-minute YouTube video, responding to Pinkett Smith’s explanation that “he wasn’t crying.”

“We were shooting at midnight because we were trying to rush to the airport in the morning and I was tired,” he furthered.

According to his longtime wife, she wanted to “stick to her gut and reshoot” the entire episode, which aired July 10 on Facebook Watch.

“That’s what I said,” the Fresh Prince agreed. “I said reshoot it, but it played out. Everybody’s like, ‘Poor Will.’”

Laughing, Smith then mimics the face he made during the interview.

“Oh God,” Pinkett Smith sarcastically responded while rolling her eyes.

“They loved themselves some Will,” he added, laughing. “They loved themselves some Will.”

Pinkett Smith decided to produce an emergency “Red Table Talk” episode in response to Alsina’s claims that he had a romantic relationship with her, which Smith allegedly gave him his “blessing” to do so.

“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation, due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times, and it, you know, not involving romanticism,” the 28-year-old singer had said. “He gave me his blessing and I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her.”

The claims made by the 28-year-old hip-hop soul singer led the family to address all the accusations surrounding his relationship with Pinkett Smith, who admitted to having the extramarital affair while the couple were privately separated.

The Hollywood power couple wed in 1997 and have publicly vowed to never divorce.

On last week’s episode of the Emmy Award-nominated talk show, the couple’s daughter, Willow, opened up about the shame the Alsina incident brought to the family but told Pinkett Smith she was “proud” of her for taking accountability.
