Smithsonian museums, including the National Zoo, closed due to snow

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Due to inclement weather, all Smithsonian museums in the district were closed to the public on Tuesday.

The Smithsonian posted a statement on the X platform at 7:20 a.m. informing the public that the museums, including the National Zoo, would be closed.
