Snake catcher saves trapped cobra that thankfully gulps down cold water

A lost cobra was trapped in a fishing net in India for four days until local villagers called snake rescuer Mirza Arif on December 5, who saved the surprisingly grateful reptile. The lost snake was found in Bokapada in Bhadrak District Odisha, eastern India. Reportedly Arif offered a chilled water bottle to the cobra at first to trick it into attacking, but when the water spilled the snake immediately started drinking it up. Arif said this was amazing as he has never seen a snake drinking chilled water. The villagers helped cut the fishing net with a small blade while Arif held the snake. After being removed from the village in a container, the snake was later released into the forest.
