SNHU College Republicans see importance of 2024 election

HOOKSETT, N.H. (NEXSTAR) – As candidates from the Republican party make their way across the state, students see the importance of this year’s election.
21-year-old Kyle Urban is the Chairman of Southern New Hampshire University’s College Republicans, and says a lot is on the line for his generation in this election.
“Whoever the President is of this term will be in charge literally of generation Beta’s early years, and generation Z’s mid to late adult years”, said Urban.
Urban pointed out that whoever is elected as the next President of the United States will influence the country during generation Beta’s (children born between 2025-2039) early years.
As a supporter of the Republican party, Urban has been interested in politics since the 2016 election.
“It was back in 2016,” Urban told us. “My family got involved with politics a little bit, they were die hard Trump supporters.”
Although Urban supports Trump and the Republican party, he says the former president needs to move past his 2020 loss in order to succeed in the upcoming election.
“Trump has his good aspects, and I used to support him a lot actually,” said Urban.
“We need to let go of the 2020 for Trump to one be a viable candidate, and two for the Republicans to move on with proper agendas.”
