The two-day competition took place at SoFi Stadium on Saturday and Sunday. During the second night, the rapper instigated an unexpected match between The Miz and Shane McMahon, the son of Vince McMahon, the majority owner and executive chairman of WWE. Shane hadn’t been in the ring in over a year, according to ABC News.

After throwing two punches that took The Miz to the ground, he performed some slow prepping moves before solidifying his win using The Rock‘s iconic wrestling move, “The People’s Elbow.”

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the West Coast legend saved the day, as it’s not a secret the music artist is a big WWE fan. As a result of his quick-thinking action, he gained respect from the fans who attended and other professional wrestlers like Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

“My hat’s off to Snoop, just picking it up and like, ‘Oh man, he’s hurt? That’s alright, I’ll fix that.’ Just a natural born entertainer,” Levesque told ABC News. “I’ve known Snoop for years in this environment and what kind of a fan he is, but tonight he put himself on a different playing field and respect factor for me. I know a lot of guys that have been in business a long time; if that happened, they’d go, ‘What do we do?’ It was amazing.”
