Snow Cascades Off Roof of Mississippi Home

Mississippi resident Michael Blackstock captured footage of snow cascading off the roof of his home in Attala County on February 21.

Blackstock said he was relaxing in bed when his home shook with a loud noise that sounded like a tree had fallen. When he went outside to investigate, he discovered a large pile of ice and snow had fallen from the roof.

“It is rare to get snow here but we just had a large storm system and this had built up on the roof over the last week,” he said.
