UPDATE: Snow closes Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta County schools

UPDATE: Due to worsening conditions and dropping temperatures, Staunton City Schools and Augusta County Schools are closed today, Thursday, Jan. 20.

The snow from Sunday is still having an impact on school divisions in the area.

All public schools will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 20, the third straight day that the weekend storm has kept students out of school. School was also closed Monday because of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, meaning students have yet to be in school this week.
