Snow Coats Odessa Neighborhood as Winter Storm Hits Texas

Weather officials urged drivers to stay off the roads as blowing snow created “terrible” travel conditions in western Texas on Sunday, February 14.

The Natonal Weather Service said visibility in Midland, Texas, dropped to a quarter mile due to blowing and drifting snow on Sunday afternoon. The snow was forecast to end Sunday night, with some areas seeing up to six inches of accumulation.
