Snow is coming to Greater Cincinnati Sunday night, slick roads expected Monday morning

Around four to six inches of snowfall is predicted to hit in the Greater Cincinnati Area Sunday afternoon into Monday, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

The heaviest snowfall will be seen in northeast Kentucky and south central Ohio, east of Interstate 71. Several counties in the area have been put under a winter storm warning by the NWS until 7 a.m. Monday, with some areas expected to receive up to eight inches of snow.

Scattered snow showers are expected to reach southwest Ohio by Monday morning. Cincinnati is expected to see one to two inches of accumulation.

The NWS advises drivers that the winter weather could make for some slick road conditions as snow is expected to accumulate quickly. Commuters Monday morning should watch the radar and be prepared for any potential hazards.
