Snow Continues to Fall on Las Vegas and Wider Area

Snow continued to fall on Las Vegas, Nevada, on the morning of Thursday, February 21, after the National Weather Service reported that the 0.5 inches that fell on Wednesday broke the daily snowfall record for that date.

This footage shows snow falling on the west Las Vegas neighborhood of Rainbow Park on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

The weather service on Thursday morning “said 7.5 inches” had fallen in Summerlin, a couple of miles northwest of Rainbow Park, by Thursday morning, and reported up to 14 inches in Kingman, Arizona, about 80 miles southeast of Las Vegas. Credit: David J. Syzdek via Storyful
