Parts of Northern Ireland’s Mourne Mountains were blanketed in snow on Monday, January 16, after winter weather swept through the area.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for parts of Northern Ireland on Monday, warning of icy stretches leading to hazardous road conditions.

Footage by Stephen Rooney shows Mourne Mountains covered in snow at 5 pm on Monday.
