Snow or no, year 2 of The Green Comet Fat Bike Race is this weekend
CASHTON, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – When Extreme Driftless thought up The Green Comet Fat Bike Race, I am sure they anticipated much more snow on the ground. Our latest weather forecast shows a dreary and cold, yet ultimately dry, Saturday in our immediate future. Despite that, George Jones put it best when he said, “The race is on.”
Saturday, February 10th, Extreme Driftless and Bikes Limited will partner for year two of The Geen Comet Fat Bike Race. 3 distances (4, 5 and 10 laps) and a cash prize to the winner of each. Plus a cash prize for the fastest lap of the day. $40 gets you in on the day of the race and they kindly ask that you bring cash only. Whether you want to race or watch, come on down and hang out. There will be food and vendors on site as well as winter camping for those who want to make a day and night of it.
Snow doubt, it will be a full day of winter fun… with or without precipitation!
