Snow snarls traffic on I-80 in the Sierra

The first snowstorm since December swept into the Sierra overnight Friday, catching drivers off-guard. "I was just constantly spinning out and seeing other cars spin out," said Edward Austin, who braved the rough weather to drive from San Jose to Reno for his job. "We've been traffic for over 45 minutes, just waiting," said Daniel Applegate, who lived just two miles away from the traffic jam. He pulled over to put chains on his car.
