Will it snow this weekend in Greater Columbus?

The warm November days have allowed us to get in some late-season bike rides and yard work.

But it's Ohio, so things changed. Cold weather is returning, and TV meteorologists are dropping the word "snow" into their forecasts.

Don't worry - you won't need your shovels. But you might see a few snowflakes (mixed with rain) on Sunday, when the high is expected to be only 43 degrees, according to the forecast by WBNS-10TV.

Areas north of Columbus stand a better chance of seeing widespread snow

The high is expected to be in the mid-50s today, but the temperature will drop to 33 at night. And Saturday and Sunday's high will be in the low 40s.

If you want to look forward to another warm day, the long-term forecast has another 60-plus day next Wednesday.

If the 2022 Old Farmer's Almanac is correct, we will see our fair share of snow this winter.

Below-average temperatures across most of the United States could bring a lot of snow, too, to areas, such as the Ohio Valley, which includes Columbus and southern Ohio, the 230-year-old publication predicts.
