Snowfall blankets parts of York County, some districts call for school delays
It's a winter wonderland in York County this morning as snow has blanketed parts of the area.
The National Weather Service has received reports of anywhere from two-tenths of an inch to more than an inch in areas of York County. It marked the first measureable snowfall for the area.
The snow came at the end of a storm that delivered much-needed rain to the drought-stricken area.
Overall, more than 2.05 inches of rain fell at the York Airport in Jackson Township, National Weather Service meteorologist Craig Evanego said.
How much snow fell in York County
The weather service has received the following snowfall reports:
Dover: Half an inch
Manchester/Mount Wolf: Half an inch
Hanover: 1 inch
Stewartstown: 1.3 inches
Just north of York: 0.2 inches

Some school districts call for 2-hour delays
Some school districts in York County have called for delays this morning.
They include:
Dallastown Area: 2-hour delay
Hanover Public: 2-hour delay
Red Lion Area: 2-hour delay
South Eastern: 2-hour delay
South Western: 2-hour delay
Southern York County: 2-hour delay
