Snowstorm Creates 'Hazardous' Travel Conditions in Western Michigan

A snowstorm created “hazardous” travel conditions, including reduced visibility and slick roadways, in western Michigan on Friday, February 5, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

The NWS said the worst conditions would be in the west toward Lake Michigan and particularly in parts of Grand Rapids. However, the weather service said “heavy bursts of snow” could travel across the state.
