New Yorkers Face Snowy Morning Commute After Overnight Storm

Snow fell across New York City on Friday, January 7, as a winter storm moved across the northeastern United States.

Over five inches of snow accumulated in Central Park overnight, while over 8 inches fell at LaGuardia Airport, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. A winter weather advisory remained in effect until noon on Friday.
