SoCal suspects arrested in connection to Sonoma County burglary

(KRON) — Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home burglary in Larkfield on midday Sunday after a resident reported seeing unknown men stealing items on their security cameras. In a multi-agency effort, three suspects were arrested in Mendocino County, according to the sheriff’s office.

The resident of a home in the 5000 block of Dempsey Place in Larkfield was not home at the time of the burglary. The suspects seen on surveillance cameras broke into the home and took cash and several valuable items before fleeing the area, authorities said.

An alert officer from the Cotati Police Department heard the call and told the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office of an attempted burglary that occurred earlier Sunday with a similar suspect, the sheriff’s office said. The Cotati police officer had a description of the suspect’s car and the license plate number, which was issued as a countywide “be on the lookout.”

A California Highway Patrol officer located the suspect car north of Hopland in Mendocino County about an hour and 15 minutes later, SCSO said, and stopped the car.

Authorities identified the suspects as Juan Carlos Cuevas Rosales, 31, of Long Beach, and Jean Paul Pulido, 19, of Los Angeles. The third suspect is a male juvenile and was not identified due to his age.

Cuevas Rosales and Pulido were arrested and charged with felony burglary, conspiracy and receiving stolen property. The minor was arrested and booked into juvenile hall.
