Saturday, Aug. 17
Arsenal v Burnley (1130)
*Arsenal are unbeaten in 17 of their last 18 home matches.
*Burnley have lost the last 10 matches against Arsenal in all competitions and have not beaten them since Dec. 2008.
*Arsenal have lost their first home league match in five of the last eight seasons (W2 D1).
*Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored two goals in each of the three games he has played against Burnley.
*Arsenal are the only top flight team Burnley boss Sean Dyche has never beaten, losing all nine matches in all competitions.
Aston Villa v Bournemouth
*Bournemouth have a poor record against newly-promoted sides, winning only twice in 11 games (D2 L7).
*The two teams are playing each other in the Premier League for the third time, with the away side winning the previous two encounters.
*Villa manager Dean Smith has lost only once against Bournemouth (W3 D1) but he was in charge of Walsall in League One at the time.
*Bournemouth have scored at least three goals in their last three away league matches.
*Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has scored four goals and assisted four more in his last five away games in the league.
Brighton & Hove Albion v West Ham United
*West Ham have never beaten Brighton away in the top flight, losing on all four occasions.
*Brighton scored only seven goals in their last 12 home games last season and have won only one home league fixture in 2019.
*West Ham have lost their last eight league games in August, last earning a win in 2016 against Bournemouth.
*Brighton striker Glenn Murray has scored seven times against Brighton -- more than against any other team (tied with Fulham).
*West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has never beaten Brighton in the Premier League (D1 L1).
Everton v Watford
*Watford have never won away at Everton in all competitions in 14 matches (D2 L12).
*Everton kept a clean sheet in their last five matches at Goodison Park, which included opponents such as Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.
*Watford are the only team Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has played at least 10 times without scoring or assisting a single goal.
*The last time Everton lost their first home game of the season was in 2011 against Queens Park Rangers (W3 D4 since).
*Of the last 15 goals scored in Premier League matches between the two sides, 14 were scored in the second half.
Norwich City v Newcastle United
*Norwich are unbeaten against Newcastle in their last six home matches (W3 D3).

Southampton v Liverpool
*Liverpool have won their last 10 Premier League matches and are one win away from equalling their best ever winning run in the competition (11 wins in 2014 under Brendan Rodgers).
*Southampton have been winless in their last six league matches (D3 L3).
*With six assists in his last five games, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold has the opportunity to join Cesc Fabregas and Mesut Ozil as the only players to register an assist in six consecutive Premier League games.
*Southampton have won their opening home game in the Premier League only once in 20 seasons (D10 L9).
*Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 12 league matches against south coast clubs (Southampton, Bournemouth and Brighton).
Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur (1630)
*City have won their last 15 Premier League matches, last losing away at Newcastle in January.
*Spurs have lost their last six away league matches, with their last away win coming in January at Fulham.
*City are unbeaten in their last 24 season openers at home in the top flight (W16 D8).
*City striker Sergio Aguero has 11 goals and four assists against Spurs. He is also four goals shy of 100 goals at the Etihad Stadium.
*Spurs have a poor record at City, picking up only four points from their last nine league visits (W1 D1 L7).

Sheffield United v Crystal Palace (1300)
*This is the first time Sheffield and Palace will face each other in the Premier League since its inaugural season in 1992-93 (Palace won both games, 2-0 and 1-0).
*Palace have won five of their last six away matches.
*Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has scored six times in his last seven away league matches.
*Sheffield used only British and Irish players in their first match of the season, the first team to do so since Norwich in Aug. 2012.
*Palace have scored 20 away goals in the league in 2019. Only Man City have scored more (24).
Chelsea v Leicester City (1530)
*Chelsea have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven home league matches and are unbeaten in their last nine at home.
*Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has not won a single match against Chelsea in 12 meetings (D6 L6).
*Chelsea have lost only once in 22 league games at Stamford Bridge but the last team to beat them at home was Leicester in Dec. 2018 (W13 D8).
*Since Leicester's promotion to the top flight in 2014, striker Jamie Vardy has scored 12 away goals against the top six clubs. No other player has scored more.
*Leicester will become the 16th team to play their 500th match in the Premier League.
Monday, Aug. 19
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester United
*United failed to beat Wolves three times in all competitions last season (D1 L2).
*Wolves striker Raul Jimenez has scored four goals and provided three assists against the top six clubs last season.
*Anthony Martial, who made his United debut in 2015, is one goal shy of his 50th for the club.
*Wolves are unbeaten in their last eight home league matches (W6 D2).
