Soccer returns to Kyiv: Dynamo to play in front of fans after invasion hiatus

For the first time since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion, Dynamo Kyiv has received authorization to host a match with fans in attendance, Dynamo's official website announced on Feb. 28.

Supporters will have the opportunity to watch Dynamo's upcoming match against FC Chornomorets Odesa in the 19th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.

The game is scheduled for March 2, at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium, kicking off at 3:30 PM.

Dynamo has already started selling tickets, which are priced at  200, 300, and 400 hryvnias ($5.40, $8.10, and $10.80)

In the previous round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Dynamo defeated Metalist 1925 Kharkiv with a score of 4-2.

It has been reported that Dynamo Kyiv's forward Vladyslav Vanat and coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi were named the best player and coach of the 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, respectively.

In other news, FC Shakhtar Donetsk has also announced the admission of fans to the stands, though the number will be limited for safety reasons.
