Soccer: Warden nets two goals in Duluth FC victory
May 30—Sidney Warden continued his hot start to the season with two goals as Duluth FC blanked La Crosse Aris 3-0 in a National Premier Soccer League game Saturday in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Warden tallied in the 45th and 89th minutes (penalty kick), sandwiching a 71st-minute Gloire Luwara goal, to give him six goals in three games this spring.
The BlueGreens improved to 2-1 this spring and dropped La Crosse to 0-2-1.
Scott Wilson and Eric Watson from Wisconsin-Superior made their first starts of the season for Duluth.
The BlueGreens play at Sioux Falls on June 5.
