Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and Rams head coach Sean McVay, who worked together for the Rams before Taylor left for Cincinnati in 2019, made it clear earlier in the week that they didn't want any fights during the joint practices.

The Bengals made it clear during Wednesday's practice that they didn't want Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald putting his hands on Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow.

It was also the first practice for safety Jessie Bates III, who missed several weeks of training camp before agreeing to sign the franchise tag.
