Check out what NBA Twitter was saying after the Suns' loss in Phoenix:
with the Adelaide 36ers coming into this game as 28-point underdogs against the Phoenix Suns, im pretty sure we just witnessed one of if not the greatest NBA ATS upset ever?

The 36ers aren’t even one of the better teams in their league 😭😭😭😭😭

The Phoenix Suns just lost to the Adelaide 36ers
It's the first time an NBA team has lost an international exhibition game since 2016, and only the fifth time in the last decade pic.twitter.com/dBTvYIat9y

The Phoenix Suns shouldn't be maken fun of for losing to the Adelaide 36ers.
It proves that the NBL is for real. They get players drafted each year and are a top-5 domestic league worldwide.

The Phoenix Suns getting cooked by a bottom 4 Australian NBL team needs its own Disney Channel movie.

In non-NFL news: The Adelaide 36ers of the Australian NBL just upset the Suns in Phoenix's first preseason game.
Obviously it's just a preseason game, but worth mentioning because Suns closed as 29.5-point favorites and shorter than -10000 on the moneyline. Crazy upset.

That’s an embarrassing loss by the Phoenix Suns to Kai Sotto and Adelaide considering the Suns starters have played. Somehow, the NBL’s stock have gone up because of this massive win!

An NBL team who play 10 min quarters on FIBA sized courts just slapped a 60 win NBA team with NBA rules. 2013 Suns are back!!!

NBL Salary Cap is $1.7 million for '22-23
Suns payroll is $167 million for '22-23 👍#NBLxNBA

Kinda don’t care about the Suns losing to an NBL team in the preseason.
Preseason is about working on different things and while it would be nice to win, that’s not the point.
