Solar eclipse viewing parties in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Although San Angelo may not be reaching totality during the solar eclipse on April 8, many people in the area are gearing up to watch as the moon covers 97% of the sun.

Here are some places you can go to enjoy the eclipse in San Angelo:

San Angelo State Park

  • Reserve your spot before it is too late to watch the eclipse on April 8, at the San Angelo State Park! The viewing party will start at 12 p.m. and will continue until 2 p.m. For more information visit the San Angelo State Park Facebook page.

Eclipse Viewing on the Patio at The Martial Pint

  • From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Martial Pint will be hosting an eclipse viewing event on the patio. During the event, there will be special drinks available.

Solar Eclipse 2024 at Warehouse 150

  • Warehouse 150 invites you to come watch the 2024 solar eclipse at 113 East Concho Ave. There will be snacks and eclipse-viewing glasses at this event.
