Sold: Tyler Perry's Former Buckhead Mansion Is Off The Market

BUCKHEAD, GA — Tyler Perry’s previously owned Buckhead mansion has sold for $15 million to an unnamed buyer, according to the realtor Engel & Volkers.

Christa Huffstickler, CEO of Engel & Völkers Atlanta, said in a press release that buyer’s agent, Lisa Robinson, “was able to close this mammoth listing that many before her struggled to move... We are so proud to have Lisa, a powerhouse in the market, on our team and look forward to continuing to make our mark in Atlanta."

Robinson, the buyer's advisor, called closing the sale “nothing short of a miracle" closing the deal during the coronavirus pandemic.

"I'm grateful for the sage leadership of our Mayor Keisha Lance-Bottoms in naming real estate professionals as critical for infrastructure, which allowed my team to function within her social distancing guidelines," Robinson said. "The relationships I have fostered over the years with clients has made it possible for me to help make their homebuying dreams a reality and allowed me to become a leader in this industry, and I truly thank them for that. Engel & Völkers Atlanta is a force to be reckoned with and I'm excited to continue to work together to find our clients their dream homes!"

In 2019, the original asking price for Perry's former Buckhead home dropped from $25 million to $21 million after being on the market for a year.

The Paces Ferry home offers more than 34,000 square feet and includes seven bedrooms, nine full and five half baths. Entrepreneur and evangelist David Turner purchased the property at 4110 Paces Ferry Road from Perry for $17. 5 million in 2016, believed to be the priciest single home residential property ever sold in metro Atlanta.

“To have this property was such poetic justice," Perry told New York magazine in 2016, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

According to its Realtor.com listing, the estate sits on 17 private acres along the Chattahoochee River and includes tons of amenities, including a 70,000-gallon infinity-edge pool, a lighted tennis court, a fully equipped gym, spa, theater, and much more.
