Sole survivor of Orange County fireworks warehouse remains hospitalized as investigation continues
It’s been a month since a massive warehouse fire in Orange County killed four people and left a young woman in critical condition.
The four people who died were all younger than 25, and 27-year-old Lindsey Tallafuss is still recovering in the intensive care unit, one month after getting 62% of her body burned in a fire on the job at Magic in the Sky.

“Lindsey’s fighting,” her brother Jason Tallafuss said.
He said Lindsey is out of her medically-induced coma, but still too sedated to speak to her family and still undergoing surgeries to restore her skin.
The victims’ families are waiting for answers after the fire at the fireworks warehouse.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire. The state fire marshall’s office said they’ve still got work to do, and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms said they will investigate once the state wraps up.

But for now, Magic in the Sky, where the fire happened, still has a federal permit to own fireworks.
