Son Surprises Father as He Recovers From Car Accident in Louisiana Hospital
A man recovering from a car accident in Louisiana was moved to tears when his son, a longtime EMS paramedic, surprised him in his hospital room on May 1.
This video shows Will LaGrone of Brandon, Mississippi, reuniting with his father, Lamar LaGrone, for the first time since he was involved in a car accident in rural part of Louisiana on April 24. Coronavirus restrictions meant Lamar LaGrone’s family was unable to visit him at Oschner LSU Health in Shreveport.
Will LaGrone, who has worked as a paramedic for 25 years, arranged that his EMS team would transport his father from the Shreveport hospital to a rehabilitation facility, where he would continue his recovery.
