Sonic Christmas Parade returns to Downtown Lafayette
Parades are back in Lafayette! The annual Sonic Christmas parade returns downtown Sunday afternoon.
After a year without this festive celebration the parade is back and is sure to entertain all ages. n full effect. Featuring 15 different floats, 10 local marching bands, 12 dance teams and much more.
The parade will begin by honoring veterans from all branches of the U.S. Military. Veterans interested in participating are encouraged to wear their uniform and meet at Vine St. between 2nd St. and Jefferson at 12:00 p.m.

The procession will begin at 1:00 p.m. near Parc International on Jefferson Street and will end at the Oil Center. Santa Claus will be making an official appearance during the parade. Children with letters to Santa and wish lists for the North Pole can bring them to the parade for mailing.
